Let us introduce you to the polo lifestyle
WE JUST REALLY LOVE THIS SPORT
And the lifestyle that surrounds it. So much that we want to share it with everyone! Whether you are drawn to the beauty of the horses, the tranquility of the Pennsylvania countryside, or making friends over a Malbec - Let us be your guide to the world of polo.
Traditionally the sport of polo is interwoven within a rich social fabric. Games are preceded by chats over yerba mate (Argentine tea) and followed up by legendary Asados (barbeques), and for bigger matches, DJs and dancing - all in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Polo players, spectators, friends, and family all congregate around the polo field. We look to bring that vibe to the Pittsburgh region, right here at Northpointe.
We invite you to be part of our polo family… Come play with us!
OUR FACILITY
Our farm is situated on 36 beautiful acres just 40 minutes north of Pittsburgh, in the hills of Kittaning PA. You will be greeted by breathtaking views of the Allegheny River and rolling green hills on your journey to our gates. We have two houses, a pond, a small stable, a 1/2 mile grass conditioning track, regulation size sand polo arena, and a stick & ball field for our guests to enjoy. Our full size grass polo field will be ready for play in future seasons!
Currently we offer polo and riding lessons, board for polo ponies, and host polo clinics and tournaments in our arena. We also rent the property for family parties, or weddings and are currently developing a Polo Bed & Breakfast to welcome guests for intensive polo training, or just to get away from the city and recharge.

FAQ
Do i have to be a polo player to visit?
Everyone is welcome at Northpointe. Whether it’s for intensive polo training, or a weekend getaway from the bustling city- we’ve got you covered.
do i have to know how to ride?
Nope! Anyone can try their hand at polo… our experienced instructors and well trained ponies will take good care of you. Even if you don’t fancy polo, how about a hack around the countryside?
ARE CHILDREN WELCOME?
Yes. We believe people of all ages can enjoy our farm and there is no minimum age requirement. If the child is interested, they can ride! For children under 12, we do require that the parent stay on-site during lessons.
CAN I BRING MY PETS?
Well behaved dogs are welcome, but please ask first. If your dog isn’t used to being around other dogs and horses, he or she may actually be happier staying home!
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT?
Polo season in our region runs in the summer from June 1 through October, so that would be the best time to visit us if you want to take in the full polo experience. However, the farm is a beautiful place to be in fall and winter as well.
